In order to mark employee attendance, Breeze uses an attendance type option. The default attendance types in the system are the following :
- Absent - Half
Although the above are the system's attendance types, Breeze allows users to create attendance types with their own terminology using the above as the base. This will become clear when you create your own attendance types.
To view the existing types select Settings from the main menu, and in the General Settings screen select Attendance as shown below :
To add a new attendance type, click on 'Add New' in the right of the screen. You should see the dialog window below :
Add a name and short code for a new attendance type and for 'Type' you could select from the following in-built choices that was listed at the top of this page. Clicking on Create will add this attendance option for use when marking attendance of employees.
