'Improving student outcomes' being the core philosophy of the Breeze system, it is only natural that everything revolves around them.
Some of the things that the system records are :

- Contact information
- Parents/Guardians details
- Student categories
- Brief medical information
- Fees and payment history
- Copies of documents
- Attendance history
- Academic performance history & analysis
- Communication history

Students can be classified under different categories when necessary. For e.g. you might want to keep track of children of school staff. For these reasons, you can create categories.
Select Settings in the main menu, and in the screen that comes up click on Users. A screen similar to the one shown below will come up listing any categories that already exist.
To add a new category, click on the Add New button on the right. A dialog window as shown below will come up and you can fill in a name for the category, type in a short code, select type as student since you are creating a student category and click on Create.
When adding a new student, you should pick up from your list of categories created here.
